RADIO FREQUENCY MICRO NEEDLING
It is an energy device used to treat acne scars, wrinkles and stretch marks. Advantage of this device is it delivers height energy to deep layers of skin without damaging superficial layers. Accordingly, the side effects are less and because of this reason it can be safely used in dark skin types (type V & VI) who are prone to pigmentation of the skin.
Method
This device has a probe with multiple needles stuck on it. Needles make multiple superficial injuries and deliver heat energy. Once they reach deeper layers and because the skin is numbed one doesn’t feel anything during the procedure. Redness and swelling would occur after the procedure. Healing creams are applied after cooling the skin.
Post Procedure
Redness subsides in a day. Swelling comes down in about two days. Complete healing takes about 3 to 4 days. Strict sun avoidance is required during this period.
